After Leaving the airport you will automatically go left onto the start of the new highway. Stay left and when the highway splits make sure you go left towards the sign for 'Din Daeng'. Follow the Bangna-Trat/Sukhumvit Road Motorway out of Bangkok until you see Highway 344. You will go through 2 Tolls and pay approx: 100 THB. |
2 |
Stay on the 344 until you see the sign for Highway 3. |
|
3 |
Join Highway 3 near Klaeng and carry on towards Trat. |
4 |
At around 23km before you get to Trat, turn left at the T-junction with 3156 (Signposted to Laem Ngop): |

|
(i) Laem Ngop Pier: Stay on this road for around 20 minutes and you'll arrive at the first of the ferry piers.
(ii) Centre Point Pier: To reach Center Point pier, turn off the 3156 after 9km and follow the road until it rejoins the 3156, turn right and Centre Point is couple of hundred meters away at the end of the road. |

I recommend either the Morchit or Ekkami bus terminals in Bangkok (VIP buses) which will ensure some comfort in getting to the ferry pier 5-6 hours later. Cost approximately 200 for this and 250-300 Baht for the 8-12 seater minibus which will arrive in 4 hours with a couple of planned stops. The bus terminates in Trat and you'll have to pay again to get to the pier. If it's possible, I recommend the minibus option since you end up paying the same anyway. |

| By Taxi: |

Traveling by taxi from Bangkok Airport to one of the piers for Koh Chang will require some negotiations with the taxi driver. Expect the cost to be around 3,000-4,000 Baht for a one-way ticket. Remember that most Bangkok taxi drivers won't know where to go so you'll have to have accurate/reliable directions. |

| By Mini-Bus: |

An ever increasing option for a small/medium group is to book a private minibus to Koh Chang. These minibuses will comfortably accommodate 6-8 people and their cases and will cost around 5,000 Baht (Bangkok) and 3,500 Baht (Pattaya) - One way. |

| Traveling to Atlantis Adventures |

Once you arrive at the pier on Koh Chang there will be a large sign with the 'Island View Resort' and our clown fish logo on it pointing in the left or south direction. If you have chosen to catch your own taxi or have your own vehical then away we go! There is only one main road on Koh Chang and Atlantis Adventures and the Island View Resort is to the south/left. |
 |
| |
About 20 minutes into the 30 minute journey you will pass the lobster farm and take the next/main road right (sign posted again for the Island View Resort or Salakphet Seafood/Resort). You'll also pass the Marina before reaching a large parking lot at the end of the road.
Welcome To Atlantis Adventures. |
